Has the features and reliability that a .45 carry weapon should have.
Review by Thomas (on 2/13/2018)
By comparison, this is a relatively large-sized handgun - even for a .45. That said, I have small hands, yet the Ultra Compact Pro just feels like a handgun should feel. The slightly heavy mass weight is easy to handle in a shoulder holster system, as well as a good quality belt holster. The weight of this handgun probably accounts for the consistent accuracy. The only ammunition I have ever experienced a FTF is the Winchester flat tips. All other .45 caliber ammo works very well for me. After considerably more than a thousand rounds, I think that the Bersa Thunder 45 Ultra Compact Pro may very well be one of the most under-rated handguns on the market. It certainly gets five stars in my book, as does the other Bersa products I have.
Great gun with a very minor problem
Review by D Lewis (on 1/7/2017)
I have this gun in all three calibers and they all shoot great and are very accurate. The minor issue I have had with all three calibers is: the retaining pin on the right safety/hammer drop, has come out while shooting at the range. Luckily, I was able to find them. And replace them. I solved this problem by inserting them a little deeper and putting Loc-tite over them and have not had this problem since. There is no reason to remove this pin to clean the guns.

I do use a lot of +p loads in the 45 acp and some +p+ loads in my 9mm. I have never had any problem with any ammo in any of them.

I also have 3 flavors of the Bersa Thunder 380's and have never had any problem with any of them.

My next purchase will be the Bersa BP9cc & the BP40cc.

Bersa offers great guns at very reasonable price and the every bit as good any of my other pistols.

Love it

Great gun the only problems I have had were on some reloads I was testing otherwise I carry 200 grain xtp hp they cycle nice and are very accurate.
Absolutely love it...having my Crossbreed Holster modified to fit...
Review by Shelton McKay (on 4/28/2015)
I would not trade this gun for anything... After a few visits to the range and making certain the hammer didn't bite me, I shot the center out of a Shoot-n-See target at 10 yards... I am "Super Happy" with the action, recoil and size. It feels good in my hand and doesn't kick as bad as my HK USP45... I Love it so much that I am changing the form on my Crossbreed Holster to fit this pistol...

I Rated 4 Stars because the hammer gets me sometimes. I suggest a modified "Back Strap" or an "after-market Add-on" of sorts that would protect the shooter's hand from a hammer strike... Otherwise, a Great CC gun after the Thunder 380...
